We started school in the beginning of August so our last day of school was May 19.

Our grandma came to see Ivie’s promotion from 8th grade which was our last day of school.  So the next day our grandma took us to the Phoenix Science Center. We arrived around 10:30 am. Not all of the kids were out of school yet, so we were able to spend a lot of time at the exhibits.

It was so much fun! One of my favorite parts was the bicycle that told you how many calories you burned. I got all the way to the top and burned a hamburger… that was over 400 calories! Then my grandma did it as well! 🙂 It was so fun!!- Ivie

I spoke to a guy through the computer with a radio transmission. His name was Douglas, he was in his 70’s. He just wanted to know my name, what school I go to now and things I like to do. You had a microphone in your hand, then you talk, when you are finished you had to say “Over”. It was quite interesting- Bailey
What are you going to do when you are out of school?
